Mosa tiles awarded the SASO quality mark
Mosa tiles are high-quality products that are designed, developed, and produced in the Netherlands, with the highest priority given to sustainability and respect for the safety of employees and the environment. These priorities have prompted Mosa to certify its products and systems, making it possible for Mosa tiles to be used worldwide.
Mosa tiles are manufactured in accordance with the European Standard EN 14411 and often exceed the specific requirements set by this standard. In addition, the tiles also comply with various quality standards for specific countries within and outside Europe. In order to assure architects of the availability of our products in Saudi Arabia, these products will need to demonstrate compliance with local legislation and regulations as guaranteed by the SASO quality mark.
SASO quality mark
Mosa tiles recently completed a comprehensive evaluation of the product and quality system that is used in our production through auditing, testing, and inspection. This resulted in our tiles being awarded the SASO quality mark (SQM). The SASO quality mark is a mark of conformity that is granted to products that demonstrate compliance with the relevant national standards set by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) in Saudi Arabia.
The SQM is proof that Koninklijke Mosa has implemented an effective quality management system to ensure continuous compliance with the aforementioned standards. The SQM also makes it easier for products to clear customs at ports by simplifying the process considerably. The certificate is valid for three years.
