Prepare

1. Prepare AutoCAD for retrieving the files

  1. Open the options menu.
  2. Check the location.
  3. Or create a new support folder.

Import

1. Export from the Pattern Generator and import into AutoCAD

  1. Go to the Pattern Generator.
  2. Select a tile pattern.
  3. Select the 'Export' menu.
  4. Pick your file for AutoCAD [You can download a single line joint or a double line joint.].
  5. For hatch files:
    1. Add the downloaded .pat file.
    2. Select the pattern file.
    3. Select a surface and place the hatch.
  6. For array files:
    1. Insert command.
    2. Select the file.
    3. Place the file in your drawing.
  7. For stamp files:
    1. Insert command.
    2. Select the file.
    3. Place the file in your drawing.

Use

1. Drawing with a hatch file

  1. Place the hatch file within a boundary.
  2. Change the position.
  3. Rotate the texture.

2. Drawing with an array file

  1. Place the array over your boundary.
  2. Use XClip.
  3. Use Wipeout.

3. Drawing with a stamp file

  1. Place the array over your boundary.
  2. Use XClip.
  3. Use Wipeout.
