Mosa supports the World Green Building Week 2019

The World Green Building Week (WGBW) will be held from 23 to 29 September. This annual event, organized by the World Green Building Council and local subsidiaries, is aimed at raising awareness of green buildings.

‘Did you know buildings and construction are responsible for 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions? 28% of these emissions come from the operational "in-use" phase – to heat, power, and cool them – while 11% are attributed to embodied carbon emissions, which refers to carbon that is released during the construction process and material manufacturing.’ - World Green Building Council

This year, the WGBW organization’s initiatives can be followed via #BuildingLife. They’ll be paying special attention to the carbon emissions from all stages of a building’s lifecycle and encourage new practices and new ways of thinking to work towards reducing carbon emissions from buildings.

How do we contribute to #BuildingLife?

Sustainability is Mosa’s foremost priority. To achieve this, we adhere to the Cradle to Cradle philosophy, which helps us make a positive contribution to our society, our economy, and our planet. Based on our Cradle to Cradle Silver certificates, we aim to decrease the carbon emissions in our manufacturing process with pure raw materials, renewable energy sources, closed-loop water management, and optimal recycling of production waste.
